ABOUT
Dr. Nielsen is excited about the opportunity to have a chiropractic practice in Monte Vista and support the San Luis Valley.

Born and raised in a small town in Alberta, Canada, he enjoyed the proximity of the mountains for camping, hiking, fishing and many other outdoor activities. The San Luis Valley was an easy choice for relocation from the hustle and bustle of Phoenix, Arizona... even in the winters.
​
He has been in active practice for 33 years experiencing a variety of clinical settings. These include, group practice, private solo practice with several clinics, a Medical Group, University of Arizona Integrative Health Center provider, clinic director for his Alma Mater. Most enjoyment throughout his practice has been the direct patient interaction, direction and care.
Tailoring a program through a detailed history and examination is essential to help guide you back to regular activity. There are times however that additional evaluations and treatments are needed through the medical profession and Dr. Nielsen will help expedite a referral as needed.
